  • Narrative Description of the Project:

    The proposed Mitan - Al Hashman - Shasar asphalt road is about 150 km long that should provide a direct connection between Mitan, Al hashman and Shasar in Governorate of Dhofar. The scope of work comprises - study of the corridor, alignment of 150 km length and selected the best alignment for the proposed road based on compare all available alignment. The proposed road is classified is Secondary Rural Road in flat section. Along the alignment fe intersections with minor unpaved tracks have been identified which shall be arranged as simple T junction.

    1) Detailed Topographic Survey
    2) Traffic Study
    3) Perform a hydrology study and hydraulic design to determine the drainage structures
    4) Study alternative alignment through aerial photographs and mapping
    5) Design all necessary structures and other elements
    6) Prepare design report, concept design, preliminary and detailed design, Engineers cost estimate and tender documents
    7) Coordination with concerned authorities to obtain their approval on the design
    8) Construction supervision
