    The Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources appointed Renardet Partners & S.A Consulting Engineers for the Feasibility Study, Detailed Design and Construction Supervision for Flood protection Scheme in Barka, with the south Al Batinah governorate. The project aims at providing a degree of flood protection of the Sultan Qaboos University and other infrastructures meant to be constructed at the south of Barka over the wadi flood plain. In order to achieve this goal, several dam implementation and river training are foreseen which will not only protect this development area but also reduce flood alleviation for Barka agglomeration.
