  • Narrative Description of the Project:

    The scope of work consists of three sections: 1) Design & Construction of Internal roads in Wilayat-Amerat, spread over in Al Nahada& Al Mahaj area including utility protection, Provision for future ducts, Slope protection, wadi protection works etc. The length of the section is around 46 km. 2) Design and construction of internal roads in Wilayat Al Amerat including Al Amerat Heights, Madinat Al Nahda, Al Atkiyah, Al Hajir and Al Hashiya including utility protection etc. The length of the section is around 51 km. 3) Design and Construction of Internal Roads in Quriyat including Sulha, Fayadi, Mahiya, Raihani, Hay Al Zaher including utility protection etc as well as road from Afiyah to Atab and Dhabani to Taba. The length of the section is 20 km. The total length of the project is around 117 km. The construction works include also electrical, telephone and water pipeline.

     

  • Description:

    Design Review and Construction Supervision which include the following:
    1) Assist the Employer in Contract Administration and in Contract Management
    2) Provide guidance and direction to the Contractor
    3) Furnish all necessary ground and topographic data, including setting out of control points
    4) Issue the interim payment certificate based on the progress at site and according to the conditions of the contract
    5) Review and recommend for approval revision (if any) of Contractor's work schedule
    6) Establish standardized Quantity and Quality control programs (Quality Plan)
    7) Establish Safety plan
    8) Review and approve Contractor's working drawings and temporary works proposals
    9) Provide supervision of works to ensure Contractor's compliance with the specs and contractual obligations
    10) Notify the Employer about Contractor's claims and provide the Client with the evaluation
    11) Prepare variation orders, evaluate request of time extension
    12) Keep the Client informed about progress and problems or potential problems
    13) Coordination with Local Authorities and Third Parties involved in the works
