Narrative Description of the Project:

The project is located in Al Mazyona City 300 km away from Salalah, Sultanate of Oman. The project involves design and laying of 11 km gravity line construction of a Sewerage network for 300 houses and a sewage treatment plant that can treat the sewage to a non strict irrigation water. The treatment units shall utilize an extended aeration, activated sludge treatment process to treat the collected and conveyed fresh sewage and possibly some septic tank waste water to produce an effluent based on Biochemical oxygen demand. Also the project consist of design of construction of pumping station wet well submersible pumps capable of passing the large solids to avoid nuisance potential and for maintenance requirement screens with stand by Generator for pumping station including supply and erection of a odour control system and main line power supply etc.

Description:

1)Supervising the construction erection, dry commissioning, water commissioning and commissioning with Raw Sewage of STP
2)Supervising the construction and erection and (Dry, water sewage) commissioning of pumping station.
3)Supervising the gravity line installation and testing for leakage and back filling the trench with layer compaction.
4)Performing all the tests for both materials and equipment as per specification.
5)Hold site meetings with the Contractor to expedite the work and speed up the activities.
6)Check the Contractor?s monthly payment certificate and recommend payment.
7)Advise the Client on contractual matter, time extension, applying penalty for delays and additional fees for variation.
8)Attend meeting with the Client to brief the Client about the latest position in terms of progress and delays.
