  • Narrative Description of the Project:

    Aflaj?s are considered one of the main sources of irrigation water in Oman. Arzat falaj water originates in Ain Arzat mountains near Salalah, Sultanate of Oman and is the main source of irrigation in Arzat farm Mamurah Palace. During the time of heavy rains, this water channel gets filled with mud and thereby making the flow of ineffective. A complete study of the water along the falaj system from Arzat mountains to Mamurah Palace was carried out in order to optimize the irrigation network.

     

  • Description:

    1) Study of existing surface water drainage system
    2) Take spot levels of surface areas like wadi channel and the required area near the water channel.
    3) Conduct Feasibility study and prepare report with minimum of 3 options for improving the situation by proposing suitable protection of the falaj system and protection of source of water.
    4) Detailed Design drawings
    5) Preparation of Technical specification and tender documents
    6) Tender Evaluation
