Narrative Description of the Project:

The Scope of Works comprises the construction of the following Roads: a.?????? Mahlah ? Ghubbrat Al Tam - Ismaiyah Road that starts from Mahlah and passes through Ghubbrat Al Tam and ends at Ismaiyah for a total length of about 36 km. b.?????? Mahlah to Misfa Road for a total length of about 9.8 km. c.?????? Link road to Seeh A?Rak which starts from Naba-Ismaiyah road for a total length of about 1.5 km. The work comprises also the construction of four bridges comprising 30 m post-tensioned slabs supported on RC Piers and abutment along the route on Mahlah ? Ghubbrat Al Tam - Ismaiyah Road: The length of the Bridges are as follows: -????????? Bridge No. 1 is about 90 m -????????? Bridge no. 2 is about 120 m -????????? Bridge no. 3 is about 120 m -????????? Bridge no. 4 is about 150 m The other works include, but not limited to, the following: ????????? Embankment protection, Dykes ????????? Scour protection measures ????????? Provision and fixing debris collectors and future ducts ????????? Relocation/protection of utilities including falajs, water lines, electrical lines ????????? Relocation of overhead/underground electrical lines and telephone lines, etc.

Description:

1) Detailed Topographic Survey
2) Comprehensive Traffic Study and Environmental study
3) Review the Master Plan of the area and other relevant studies
4) Perform a hydrology study and hydraulic design to determine the drainage structures
5) Design of Bridges and geotechnical investigation
6) Study alternative alignment in the hilly area through aerial photographs and mapping
7) Design all necessary structures and other elements
8) Prepare design report, preliminary / detailed design, Engineers cost estimate and tender documents
9) Coordination with concerned authorities to obtain their approval on the design
10) Construction Supervision
