The proposed Hasik ? Shuwaymiyah Road connects between Hasik and Shuwaymiyah in the north-eastern region of the Governorate of Dhofar. The southern part of the project area near Hasik town lies in Wilayat Sadh, whereas the northern part of the area near Shuwaymiyah lies in the territory of Wilayat Al Halaniyat. The proposed road closes the missing link between Ash Shuwaymiyah and Salalah along the coastal road passing through Taqah, Mirbat, Sadh, Hadbin, and Hasik, and will provide a short connection or alternative route to Al Wusta region traffic that currently uses Shalim ? Amal ? Marmul ? Thumrait Road. The proposed road is about 95 km long out of which about 7 km near Hasik Town and about 20 km near Ash Shuwaymiyah Town lie in flat terrain, where existing asphalt or track roads provide access in these area.
1) Detailed Topographic Survey
2) Traffic Study
3) Perform a hydrology study and hydraulic design to determine the drainage structures
4) Study alternative alignment through aerial photographs and mapping
5) Design all necessary structures and other elements
6) Prepare design report, concept design, preliminary and detailed design, Engineers cost estimate and tender documents
7) Coordination with concerned authorities to obtain their approval on the design
8) Construction supervision
