Construction of Al Ghubrah Bridge Widening and Junction Improvement

The project consists of: a) widening of Al Ghubra bridge and improvements of the junctions b) dualisation of Roads in Madinat Al Sultan Qaboos c) Dualisation of Roads in Boshar The above includes the construction of signalised at grade intersections, widening of existing I-girder bridge, retaining walls, pavement construciton, traffic signs and road markings, paving and curbing works, street lighting, lanscaping storm water drainage, public utilitiy services diversion and protection.

Design Review and Construction Supervision which include the following:
1) Assist the Employer in Contract Administration and in Contract Management
2) Provide guidance and direction to the Contractor
3) Furnish all necessary ground and topographic data, including setting out of control points
4) Issue the interim payment certificate based on the progress at site and according to the conditions of the contract
5) Review and recommend for approval revision (if any) of Contractor's work schedule
6) Establish standardized Quantity and Quality control programs (Quality Plan)
7) Establish Safety plan
8) Review and approve Contractor's working drawings and temporary works proposals
9) Provide supervision of works to ensure Contractor's compliance with the specs and contractual obligations
10) Notify the Employer about Contractor's claims and provide the Client with the evaluation
11) Prepare variation orders, evaluate request of time extension
12) Keep the Client informed about progress and problems or potential problems
13) Coordination with Local Authorities and Third Parties involved in the works
